As usual, the starting point will be a Box. This time the box has the following parameters: Length: 100, Width: 100, Height: 20, Length Segs: 7, Width Segs: 7, Height Segs: 2.

Convert the Box to an editable polygon. Choose which side will be the back of the chair. On this side select the highligted polygons one by one and resize them to 135% along the edge axis. You can use percent snap to make things easier.
